ABOUT FCA

The Finnish Center Association promotes and preserves Finnish and Nordic traditions and culture through social and educational activities for the public, on topics ranging from traditional foods and cooking, language, crafts and customs, festivals, literature, music, and gardening.

FCA has a core membership of over 500 people of all ages and regions of the U.S. and Canada, the majority of whom have Michigan roots and Finnish heritage.

BECOME A MEMBER

Membership in the Finnish Center Association is open to all individuals or families who are interested in the activities and goals of the organization.

MAIN HALL

The Finnish cultural center has two dining halls, two bars, and one commercial kitchen. Events vary in size from 20-200 people. Types of events include meetings, retreats, workshops, wedding receptions, funeral lunches, family parties, and other community functions.
