The celebration of the summer solstice, or midsummer, between the 20th and 26th of June.

Finnish independence day

December 6, 2025

Dec. 6 each year to celebrate Finland’s declaration of independence from the Russian empire.

November 8, 2025

A day of Scandinavian food, art, music, and the sale of an array of curated handcrafted and imported goods.

The Finnish Center has a busy events calendar. The facilities can also be rented for private events.

  • Many events are free or have a small entry fee and are open to the public. Most events with catering require a paid ticket.

  • Yes, the Finnish Center is a single level building and offers handicap accessible restrooms.

RENTING THE SPACE

MAIN HALL

The Finnish cultural center has two dining halls, two bars, and one commercial kitchen. Events vary in size from 20-200 people. Types of events include meetings, retreats, workshops, wedding receptions, funeral lunches, family parties, and other community functions.
